– Van Eperen Public Relations (VE PR), www.vepublicrelations.com, a full-service public relations firm in Montgomery County, Md., has named Jennifer Strohm the firm’s Account Supervisor.
Strohm has more than 10 years of experience helping organizations achieve their goals through strategic and creative public relations. She most recently was the Acting Public Information Manager for the City of Rockville, where she managed media relations for Maryland’s third-largest city and served as the editor of the city’s two award-winning newsletters.
Prior to joining the City of Rockville, Strohm translated complex health information into meaningful tips and information for national audiences as the Communication Manager for the National Sleep Foundation. She also planned and implemented media events and developed high-quality publications for Reading Is Fundamental, Inc., a national nonprofit children’s literacy organization, and Six Flags Great Adventure, a New Jersey-based theme park.
She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from the University of Maryland and a Master of Arts degree in Publication Design from the University of Baltimore. She lives in Rockville, Md.
